The 2021 data set, released in 2022, is the most recent complete American Community Survey from the US Census Bureau.
You can now enrich your address and coordinate data with data from the 2017-2021 US Census Bureau American Community Survey.
The 2021 data set is the most recent 5-year American Community Survey from the US Census Bureau that has detailed data in the categories returned by Geocodio:
This dataset was released in December 2022. You can read more about this data release from the US Census Bureau here.
Please note, we do not provide results from the 1-year American Community Surveys, as they do not provide granularity at the necessary depth for the above categories.
Geocodio also supports adding 2022 Census boundaries (i.e. FIPS codes, MSAs, and so forth), which is the most recent Census year. See more about how to get Census boundaries for addresses here.
As the survey is of the 2021 Census year boundaries, all FIPS codes returned with these appends will be with 2021 Census boundaries. If you need the 2022 Census boundaries at the same time, this additional lookup is free.
