FFIEC Data Append Now Available In Beta
Customers now have access to key datapoints from the FFIEC flat file, including Income Level, Urban/Rural code and more
What's New?
Our new FFIEC dataset has launched in beta and allows you to retrieve key datapoints from the FFIEC flat file. This resource was designed to assist financial institutions, lenders and other organizations that need to comply with fair lending regulations like Regulation C (HMDA), FHA and CRA.
Currently, the data returned is for the 2024 FFIEC release, though we will update with 2025 data once it is made available later this year.
FFIEC data can be appended to any US address or coordinate pair when using our Spreadsheet Uploader or our API.
For further instructions, please review our FFIEC guide.
What datapoints are returned?
The FFIEC dataset includes a variety of 20+ key datapoints:
Income level
Urban/Rural code
MSA/MD Median Family Income
CRA poverty criteria
CRA unemployment criteria
CRA distressed criteria
CRA remote rural criteria
Beta Test
We have elected to run a public beta of the FFIEC data append because we would love your feedback on which datapoints we should return. There are more than 1,200 datapoints per Census tract in the FFIEC's dataset and we aim to provide the most commonly-used options.
As such, it should be noted that column names and data returned could change in the future. If you have any feedback, please reach out to us at hello@geocod.io.
